Community Music EDUCATION 2025-26

ABOUT THESE ELEMENTARY PROGRAMS

Elementary music programs in the Superior School District serve ALL students in grades K-5. General music education encompasses learning of information and skills including - singing, moving, aesthetic appreciation and response, instrument playing (rhythm instruments, barred instruments, recorders), and reading of music notation.

Each school has two formal performances per year in December and May. There are three music educators serving all 5 schools - Lynne Putzke, Amy Frane, and Kristen Hallsten. Combined, they have over 75 years of teaching experience!
